"Nature Loving On Vashon" Large Scale Hand Pressed Print Yellow Handcrafted on Vashon Island -The dimensions of the print are 38. 5" x 38. 5". The hanger strips at the top and bottom are 41" wide. A linocut is a printmaking technique where an artist carves a design into a block of linoleum, then inks the raised, uncarved areas and presses the block onto paper to create a print, essentially resulting in a mirror image of the carved design; the areas cut away remain uninked on the paper, creating the negative space in the image.
