they did make tins like this after the war but the graphics more closely match war time and pre-war Rheila products although that style does also carry over a few years after the war as well

This style of krug is appropriate for the 1930's but was also produced after the war

I didn't test them on hair

I have seen similar pencil holders with button holes to hang from a tunic. This is in OK used condition. There are some wood worm holes in the back. It includes 3 well used pencils.
